Volunteers

Over the years, many people have volunteered their time at TMR and this in-kind support is invaluable to the on-going development of what TMR does.

Some of these people remain anonymous, such as the Telstra volunteers shown in this image, but there are those who time and time again have given of their time, and those we acknowledge below.

Lyn MUIR

Lyn MUIR Lyn became involved with Tas Marine Radio because she is married to Brian! Brian and Barry McCann thought it would be a good idea for Lyn to rewrite the Access database (used to keep member records) to occupy some of the first part of her retirement. They knew that this would give us a brilliant new system and "mask" the time that Brian was to put into TMR. Lyn taught Literature, English and Computer Applications at Elizabeth College.

Andrew BOON

He is currently a member of the CYCT, DSS and GBBC and enjoys cruising in his Hallberg-Rassy 382 Juliet (RG713).
